At Nomod we're looking for a Arabic Localisation Specialist to join our team.
As we continue to expand our reach, we are looking for a skilled Arabic Localisation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our content is culturally appropriate and accurately translated for our Arabic-speaking audience.
As an Arabic Localisation Specialist, you will:
Translation and Localisation:
Translate and localise content from English to Arabic, ensuring cultural sensitivity and linguistic accuracy.
Adapt marketing materials, product descriptions, user manuals, and other documents to suit the Saudi Arabian market.
Ensure consistency in terminology and style across all translated content.
Content Review and Editing:
Review and edit translated content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company guidelines.
Collaborate with content creators to ensure high-quality and engaging Arabic content.
Market Research:
Research local market trends, preferences, and cultural nuances to inform localisation strategies.
Provide insights into the preferences and behaviours of Arabic-speaking audiences in Saudi Arabia.
Quality Assurance:
Perform linguistic testing and quality assurance checks on localised content.
Identify and resolve any localisation issues, ensuring content meets the highest standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure cohesive and effective localisation.
Liaise with external vendors and freelancers for translation and localisation projects as needed.

You do not need to be intimately familiar with any of the technologies that we work with. Great people are effective at quickly learning what we use or introducing us to new ways of working.
Having said that, we think an Arabic Localisation Specialist should:
Proven experience as a localisation specialist or translator, preferably within the Fintech/SaaS industry.
Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and cultural nuances.
Fluency in both Arabic and English, with exceptional writing and editing skills in Arabic.
Proficiency in localisation tools and software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to haves:
Have a Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
Experience with SEO and digital marketing.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and other collaboration tools.
Certification in translation or localisation.
