About the job

We are seeking a Performance Marketing Engineer to join our team and manage performance marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ad platforms, tracking implementation, and data-driven optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive performance through data, automation, and optimization across multiple platforms.

As a Performance Marketing Engineer, you will:

  • Ad Platform Expertise: Set up, optimize, and scale campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax), YouTube Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

  • Data & Tracking Implementation: Implement and manage tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager, GA4, server-side tracking, and Meta Pixel to ensure accurate measurement and attribution.

  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Analyze user behavior, conduct A/B tests, and optimize landing pages to drive higher conversions.

  • Automation & Scripting: Use Google Ads scripts, API integrations, and other automation tools to streamline and scale performance marketing processes.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and optimize campaign performance using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, SQL, and data visualization tools, providing actionable insights.

  • Budget & ROI Management: Optimize bid strategies, manage budgets efficiently, and forecast ROAS across channels, ensuring cost-effective ad spend and maximizing returns.

  • API Development & Integration:

    • Work with APIs such as WhatsApp Business API, Meta API, and third-party chatbot platforms (Twilio, Vonage, WATI) to integrate performance marketing systems with external tools and platforms.

    • Design and implement seamless integrations to enhance marketing automation.

  • Backend Development:

    • Develop backend solutions to support performance marketing systems using Python and/or Node.js.

    • Ensure backend functionality supports marketing processes and automation needs.

  • Webhooks & Event-Driven Systems:

    • Set up and maintain real-time message handling and lead data synchronization with marketing automation tools through webhooks and event-driven systems.

Having said that, we think a Performance Marketing Engineer should:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, data analytics, or a related field (preferred).

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Proven experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax), YouTube Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, with a focus on performance marketing.

  • Proficiency in Google Tag Manager, GA4, server-side tracking, and Meta Pixel implementation.

  • Solid understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B testing methodologies.

  • Strong experience in automation using Google Ads scripts and API integrations.

  • Expertise in data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, SQL.

  • Experience in budget and ROI management, with a track record of optimizing bids and forecasting ROAS.

  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on results and continuous optimization.

  • Experience working with APIs (WhatsApp Business API, Meta API) and integrating third-party tools like Twilio, Vonage, or WATI.

  • Proficiency in backend development (Python and/or Node.js).

  • Experience in setting up webhooks and event-driven systems for marketing automation.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with other ad platforms such as TikTok Ads, Twitter Ads, or programmatic advertising.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM integrations.

  • Strong project management and collaboration skills.
